As a key product for E-Mobility infrastructure, Toyota Tsusho is getting envolved in promoting charging stations and systems around Europe.
SMART CHARGE SYSTEM by SEC/KDDI/Toyota Tsusho
Smart Charge System is in fact a standard charger (not quick charger), but can control charging level of multipled cars in one garage. Thus, the cost is higher than standard charging station but much lower than a quick charger.
Even though most of the cars are to be charged in the night time, Smart Charge System will minimize the peak of the electricity consumption. As the result, required maximum current will be much lower than that of unintegrated charging facilities.
The appearance of the Smart Charge System is relatively compact and easy for maintenance.
